2026 PRC Timeline

Starting week of Oct. 20

  • Review the Selection District reading teams
  • Homework (due Nov. 3) before the final orientation video shared on Tues, Nov 4.:
    1. Watch training videos 1-3 here that outline the PRC charge and criteria, the technical process, and implicit bias mitigation
    2. One person in each Selection District (SD) volunteers to be "convener" to schedule 2 virtual calls (convener should have access to a platform (Zoom, Teams, etc.) that allows 3 people to join)
      1. one between Nov. 7-10 to having a norming conversation around same 4-6 "live" 2026 applications (identified by CCSF)
      2. one Dec. 8-11 to rank final 20 recommendations
      3. We strongly recommend that SDs consider a third, brief virtual meeting at the mid-point of the reading process (Nov. 21-24(ish)), or minimally email/text communication throughout the process -- to encourage, ask for perspective, and keep each other on track
    3. Review the sample applications from this Google Drive, then submit practice ratings by Nov. 3 at this Google Form

Starting November 7

  • View final training orientation shared on Tues., Nov. 4
  • Review assigned "homework" LIVE submissions for full group norming and calibration
  • 4-6 live SD applications for norming made available in Reader Portal starting Nov. 7
  • SDs meet virtually to norm around same 4-6 applications between Nov. 8-11

  • Jamie will send SD status updates

  • Jamie will send SD status updates

Dec. 6(ish)

  • CCSF will make the Ranking portal and a training video available to all readers so that you may see each others' scores and notes
  • SD committees meet virtually to rank their top 20

By Dec. 7

  • All reads are complete with individual scoring and recommendations submitted

Dec. 8-11

  • CCSF will make the Ranking portal and a training video available to all readers so that you may see each others' scores and notes
  • SD committees meet virtually to rank their top 20

By Dec. 11

  • SDs submit THOUGHTFULLY, CAREFULLY RANKED top 20 candidates to CCSF
  • Only one member of each SD needs to submit rankings in the Ranking portal
