Scholarship Application Instructions
We're glad you're exploring the Coca-Cola Scholars Program for college funding! Each year we award $3 million in scholarships to talented students across the United States.
Please read these instructions carefully when completing the application.
This is a highly competitive program and will require that you take the time to fully and accurately portray yourself. The information you collect for this scholarship application will help you present yourself for other scholarships and for your college admissions applications.
Please do not be discouraged by the number of questions and amount of information requested. To stand out from the millions of high school seniors graduating this year, we require a significant amount of detailed information.
Page 1 | Biographical Information
Please carefully complete the biographical information (name, address, etc.). Be sure your information is accurate and complete for notification purposes. All fields with an asterisk (*) are required and cannot be blank.
Please check the box indicating you are a high school senior expecting to graduate this academic year. You are eligible to apply ONLY if you expect to graduate this academic year. If you have not yet attained graduating senior status, then you may be eligible in a future year.
Please select your citizenship status from the dropdown list. You must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident of the U.S. to apply. Please refer to our eligibility requirements for a full list of our requirements.
School Info: The CEEB (SAT/ACT) code is NOT a test score. It is the six-digit school code which identifies your school for SAT and ACT registration. If you do not know this number, please ask your guidance counselor or visit the College Board website.
Homeschoolers should use the "school" CEEB code number of 111111.
Questions related to ethnicity, family income, recommendation to apply and opting in to The Coca-Cola Company promotional offers are voluntary but provide for useful applicant comparative purposes. This information is not used as a determining factor in the selection process.

The first question helps the Scholars Foundation evaluate those students who may be limited in their activities by school policy. It is in your best interest to indicate a response here.
Indicate the position(s) you have been elected/appointed to in these common school activities. NOTE: If you are an officer/editor of an organization in any particular year, you cannot also mark that you are a representative or staff/contributor.
Please be sure to distinguish the years (9-12) when you count the number of clubs/organizations.
No application can address all of the clubs and organizations that might be available across our country. The question listed as “Other School-related or Non-School related Clubs, Organizations, Intramurals not previously listed”, allows you to tell us about your participation and leadership in school-related clubs, organization and intramurals not addressed in the previous questions. Use this space to identify the other roles and activities you have in your school.
Awards, Honors, Special Skills or Talents tell us about the honors you have received, or special skills you have, that are most meaningful to you and whether they were on a local (school, county, or district), state, national, or international level. This question allows for a short description of up to 10 different honors, talents, skills or positions. These may be talents or skills outside of school activities, but should not be duplicated in other areas of this application.

Please indicate the hours of volunteer service you've performed by grade year.
Please indicate the number of community organizations that you actively participated in during each grade year. Note that these organizations can be school-related, but should not duplicate any responses you made in any previous section of the application. Also indicate your level of activity in the three community organizations most important to you.
Please provide the name of the award or honor you may have received for your work in community organizations and indicate the grade level of the award or honor.

Important Note: To be considered for the next stage of this scholarship, you MUST list at least three (3) grades in EACH CORE AREA (English, Math, Science, and Social Science). If you do not, your application will automatically be disqualified.
Please consult with your counselor to assure that you fully complete the academic information requested.
If your school offers an Honors, Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate curriculum, check the appropriate box and indicate the number of such courses offered by your school.
Please indicate the grades you have received in high school, grades 9 – 11, and the courses in progress for grade 12.
Please indicate the status of each class that you are providing a grade for by selecting one of the "Class Status" options.
For courses not listed, please add to the blank lines of the “Other Courses” section. You must indicate all grades received for all courses completed.
Please indicate your official class rank at the end of your junior year. This ranking should be based on your school's formal policy for determining rank. If you are uncertain of your ranking, please consult with your guidance counselor.
You may indicate a percentile rank if your school does not provide exact class rank. Please only provide one rank, either a numeric class rank or a percentile estimate.
If your school system does not use student ranking, please indicate so by checking the appropriate box. If your school does not rank, this will not affect the status of your application.
Page 5 | Employment Information
Please indicate by grade year the number of weeks of employment and the average number of hours worked during the school year and the summer. Note that grade 12's response should be based on your anticipated work schedule through December 31.
Submission
You are able to make any necessary updates and edits to your profile and application until 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Simply log in, make the changes and be sure to save and continue to the end of the application. Once you click Submit at the end of the application, you will no longer be able to make edits to your application.
