The Bob Lovell Marketing Scholar

 

Bob Lovell was known as the “Dean of Marketing” in the Coca-Cola bottling community. He served Coca-Cola United’s customers for more than 35 years and retired as the Vice President of Marketing in 2003. This scholarship celebrates the legacy of his service and extraordinary marketing insight of consumers, customers and communities. 

Applications are reviewed by an independent jury and one Scholar is selected each year for a one-time $1,000 scholarship award.

Criteria for the Bob Lovell Scholar are as follows:  

  • Must be a rising junior, senior or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
  • Must be a business major planning to pursue a career in marketing.  
  • If marketing is not an academic program provided by your institution, you must have completed at least 9 credit hours of marketing related courses (communications, public relations, graphic design, digital design,etc).

Graduate Students: You must be pursuing a graduate degree in Business Administration and have at least 9 credit hours of undergraduate marketing related course work.

Applications will be evaluated on:

  • Demonstrated marketing insight
  • Professional experience
  • Communication skills
  • Passion
